CHG Healthcare’s favorite time of year is Halloween. It is a fun nod to our people-focused culture, that encourages employees to express their uniqueness. Since as far back as we can remember, we have hypnotized our employees with a scream-worthy Halloween celebration in each of our offices.
In 2017, CHG’s House of Horrors had employees shrieking in fear.
The parties are always over the top and simply spellbinding. CHG’s events team pulls out all the tricks and treats in their bag to enchant everyone. Every year is better than the next!
Our people are famous for dressing up in spook-tacular costumes. You can see all their innovative ideas in our Halloween 2019 Facebook album. The Addams Family team theme was a big hit!
Teams practice for weeks to compete and win “Best Skit.” A life-size game of Mario Cart took over the hallways in 2016 and human Hungry Hungry Hippos had us all laughing until it hurt.
You can expect at least one synchronized dance a year. In 2013, Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance took center stage and our people killed it!
We parade around the office and indulge in Halloween-inspired treats throughout the day. You really must see it to believe it — it is supernatural! We had to call the Ghostbusters in 2018 to catch some ghosts who kept scaring us away from our desks.
Given our current climate, celebrations look different this year. We still plan on getting in the Halloween spirit with creepy crafts, a virtual pumpkin carving contest, and virtual visits to haunted houses and historic establishments like the Paris Catacombs and Dracula’s Castle . . . creepy!
Our hope for 2021 is that we can safely resurrect CHG’s frightening festivities. For now, we must respect the CDC’s recommendation to continue social distancing and simply reminisce about the best Halloween parties that ever existed!
