Thirteen years ago, Mike Sizemore, field services manager of the IT team at CHG in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., started as a payroll coordinator for CompHealth allied health staffing. However, his passion lay in information technology and when Melissa Horan, windows system engineer, needed additional support on the IT team, Mike jumped at the opportunity to apply.
"I interviewed with a few people and ended up transferring into the IT department," Mike says. "I have been working in IT ever since then."
Mike's leaders gave him the chance to work where he wanted to thrive, setting an example of the culture at CHG.

One thing that has remained consistent throughout my tenure at CHG is the amazing people-centric culture. Having had the privilege to travel and meet with so many of our great co-workers has really opened my eyes to how genuine and real Putting People First is. From the executive leadership down to everyone else, you see examples of our culture displayed on a daily basis. People love coming to work here, and they are all committed to the same end result.
Over the years, I've worked on many large projects. One of my favorite projects was combining the three Fort Lauderdale offices into one new home. At that time, we had less than 200 people. Today, there are almost 400 people! A few years later, I had an opportunity to transfer to the Salt Lake City office and work as an email administrator, where I played a key role in the project to migrate our email from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Outlook. Once this project was complete, I was given the chance to transfer back to Fort Lauderdale.
