My CHG Story: Jennie Leggett

Not only does she help recruit new talent for various teams in the company, but she’s also able to share with new hires the core values that make CHG great. One of the biggest inspirations to Jennie is CHG’s core value Continuous Improvement.

“The first year we made Fortune’s ‘Best Companies to Work For’ list was so great. I knew it was a goal our company was striving to achieve,” Jennie recalls. “The day of the announcement came, and I saw the leaders parading around celebrating our win, it was so moving to me because of the focus, dedication and hard work that went into it. I love that continuous improvement will always be a focus for CHG.”

Jennie feels one of the most appealing aspects for new hires is CHG’s commitment to upholding its core values, especially the core value Growth, which provides everyone in the company an opportunity to be successful.

“Growth has improved my experience here because I’ve had the opportunity to hold many different positions and learn so much more about our business,” says Jennie. “I think everyone has the desire to grow professionally, and it’s great that CHG helps foster that.”

I originally started with the company in 2006 on the talent acquisition team as an administrative assistant. I was here for about a year and a half when I decided to leave and take a stab at starting my own business. I’ve always had an interest in decorative and faux painting. I had even taken some classes a few years prior in California to help me with different techniques.

I had some success for about a year, but then I really started to miss working with people. I called my friend that was still on the talent acquisition team and told her I really wanted to come back. She helped me find a position with CompHealth locum tenens as a business partner. After about a year, I was moved to a provider representative position. I loved recruiting physicians and being a part of such a fantastic division. However, when the opportunity came up to move back to talent acquisition, I felt it was the right time to make the move. I’ve been in this role for about two years, and I continue to learn and grow every day.

I truly love working for CHG, and I feel proud to tell people where I work and how lucky I am to work for such a great company that cares so much for its people.
