First Impressions: Ravi Cerar

Ravi Cerar is a physician recruiter with our CompHealth locum tenens division in Salt Lake City. He joined CHG a little over a year ago and enjoys the learning and development opportunities that the company offers employees.

“The concept that there is no glass ceiling on the sales floor is motivating,” Ravi shares.

Learn more about Ravi, including which actor he’d choose to play him in a movie, in the Q&A below.

When did you start at CHG?
I started at CHG in the middle of November 2015.

How do you describe what you do for a living to your friends?
I help physicians find jobs (physician-hospital matchmaker).

What has been your most memorable moment at CHG so far?
I have had so many great conversations with peers and managers here, it’s been memorable in so many ways. From coaching moments to social exchanges that go down in the books.

Which CHG core value means the most to you and why?
Quality and Professionalism. I always hope to present CompHealth on par, (in terms of professionalism) with other appointments the physician has or is looking into.

Do you have any advice for new or potential CHG employees?
Just enjoy the ride. I’m not sure there is a way to outsmart the learning curve.

Do you have any hidden talents?
I have a fairly deep bench to the sock line up.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
A university professor.

What actor would play you in a movie about your life?
It’s gotta be Tom Cruise. Every day of my life is Mission Impossible and that hair?!
