Working at CHG

A message from our CEO Scott Beck

Twenty-one years ago, I joined CHG Healthcare, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. In the last two decades, CHG has accomplished more than I could have imagined. Not only do we play a pivotal role in the healthcare industry, we’ve also created a people-first culture with core values rooted in the belief that people come before profit.

That belief and our dedication to our culture has resulted in a company that feels more like a family. A company full of people who go above and beyond to take care of each other and make a difference to our customers and our communities. They inspire me each and every day.

Like most companies, CHG has experienced the negative impact of COVID-19, including a drop in demand for our services. As a result, we are unable to continue to sustain our current number of team members during this significant downturn. Last week, I let our employees know that we were reducing our workforce by 180 people, approximately 5% of our team. This is hard news for our CHG family, and something that I wish we could avoid.

Even during difficult times like these, we want to continue to put our people first. We are committed to doing all we can to help those impacted by the layoffs. Each person will receive a comprehensive severance package and job-search assistance.

To those who have been impacted by this change, I want to thank you for sharing your dedication and passion with us. We are grateful for all you’ve done for your coworkers and the company.

Although we are sad to lose people we care about, we will continue to play a vital role in healthcare and remain committed to our people-centric culture and core values. We will continue to focus on creating connections, celebrating individuality and diversity, and making a difference every day.
