Healthcare Traveler magazine featured Sandra Amato-Shipton, a traveler for RN Network, in its November issue. In the article, Amato-Shipton spoke about her experiences serving as a nurse in the military and then transitioning to travel nursing.
"My philosophy is that life is like a book and each experience is a new chapter. Becoming a traveler was a chance to write another chapter," she explains. "I thought accepting mobile contracts would allow me to do what I originally loved, which is taking care of patients in the OR."
