Hundreds of our people in the Salt Lake office attended a bake sale and barbecue lunch June 26 to benefit CompHealth locum tenens team member Brandie Caporalli, who is currently battling glioblastoma, a malignant brain tumor.
Members of the CompHealth locum tenens radiology oncology team sold baked goods, hotdogs, bracelets and T-shirts and also sold tickets for raffle items such as photography packages to raise money for Brandie's cancer treatments.
Domini Turner, a sales representative on Brandie's team, helped to organize the event and says her team was excited to see the number of people who contributed to the fundraiser.
"The overwhelming participation within our CompHealth family was surprising and awe-inspiring. Everyone was so generous and worked hard to make this a success," Domini shares. "The best part is that the Salt Lake office's support is helping Brandie cope with her diagnosis — and giving her fuel to fight the disease."
