CHG Healthcare Services, the nation's largest privately held healthcare staffing company, has named Mark Law chief operating officer.
Law joined CHG 26 years ago as a member of the accounting department. Since then, he has held a variety of positions, including recruiter, sales manager, sales director, and vice president and president of CHG's CompHealth division. Most recently, Law served as a group president where he managed the business and leadership for three of CHG's divisions: CompHealth, Weatherby Healthcare and Foundation Medical Staffing.
Law succeeds Scott Beck who was named CHG Healthcare's CEO earlier this year.
"Mark is a tremendous leader and has been a valuable partner throughout the years," says CEO Scott Beck. "His profound knowledge of the staffing industry and strong instincts are unmatched, as is his commitment to our culture, people and continued growth."
CHG employs nearly 2,000 people in seven offices, including Salt Lake City, Utah; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Boca Raton, Fla.; Durham, N.C.; Norwalk, Conn.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Edmond, Okla. In 2014, CHG's healthcare staffing companies placed more than 11,000 medical providers across the country who served more than 17 million patients.
"I've been incredibly fortunate to be a part of CHG's journey from a small team of less than 100 people to an award-winning company of nearly 2,000 people that really cares about making a difference," Law shares. "I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of CHG's continued growth and success and to work with incredible people every day."
Recently, CHG announced plans to build a new corporate headquarters in Midvale, Utah, which is scheduled for completion in spring 2017. The company plans to add more than 500 new employees over the next 10 years.
