Members of CHG's marketing team and leaders from both CompHealth and CHG attended the annual United Way of Salt Lake Young Leaders event on April 9 at The Depot, a venue in downtown Salt Lake City.
Attendees from the marketing team included Kyle Power, Chase Johnson, Kristina Tree, David Cahoon, Chad Stone, Cynthia Miller and Christi Ohran. Members of the CompHealth team who went to the concert included Kerry Wagner, Jeff Freeman, Allison Beer, David Baldridge and Melissa Byington. Kevin Ricklefs and Jeff Nelson, both representing CHG, were also present.
The benefit concert featured local band Royal Bliss, which has toured with groups such as Buckcherry, Kid Rock and Papa Roach, and all proceeds went to the United Way's early childhood education efforts. A variety of prizes were also available to participants in the event.
David Cahoon, senior graphic designer in marketing communications at CHG, attended the concert with several of his teammates and enjoyed meeting new people and hanging out with CHG friends.
"It was great to spend time with coworkers outside of the office, and, of course, it was for a good cause," David says. "The people were a lot of fun."
Kristina Tree, marketing coordinator at CHG, recalls that a video was also shown at the event featuring community members and CHG leaders who talked about their involvement with the United Way.
"I was proud to work for an organization who supports UW Young Leaders," Kristina shares. "It is inspiring, and I now have a desire to be involved."
