2018 CHG Humanitarian Trip: Ecuador

CHG offers employees the chance to make a difference through company-sponsored humanitarian trips. Earlier this year, we partnered with Me to We to send six CHG employees and their guests on a humanitarian trip to Ecuador.

The group participated in several projects to benefit a village in the Amazon basin. They helped build a community kitchen for the village school and helped dig septic tank holes in an effort to provide a working bathroom for every family in the village.

In addition to the service projects, the group had the chance to immerse themselves in the culture by meeting with local women’s groups, speaking with local farmers, touring local health clinics, and learning local customs.
