CHG recognized as one of Utah’s 100 Companies Championing Women
CHG operates nationwide, but our home base is in Utah — so we’re thrilled to be recognized by Inspire InUtah for our work to bolster the success of women in the workplace. The Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity initiative aims to support women in the workplace and women entrepreneurs. Their list of 100 Companies Championing Women shares the stories of companies that succeed with family-friendly policies and practices, plus recruiting, hiring, retention, and advancement initiatives for women.
Our inclusion on the list makes sense because, as CHG’s vice president of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Christine VanCampen, puts it, “CHG’s commitment to advancing women in the workplace is more than just an initiative; it’s part of who we are, how we operate, how we think, and what we believe.”
Our story of success is inherently connected to the roles women fill at CHG — 52% of our leaders are women, 29% of our female employees are in VP roles and above, and 46% of our directors and above also identify as female.

CHG Healthcare is one of the 2024 Best Companies for Women to Advance
Parity.Org is a top organization in unlocking diversity in leadership — if anyone knows wage equality when they see it, it’s them. So, we’re very honored to be included on their 2024 list of Best Companies for Women to Advance for the second year in a row. At CHG, pay parity is 100% status quo, and 100 is a number shared by women and men at our company — that is, women make 100% of what their male counterparts earn. We’ve achieved this by maintaining equitable policies and practices like monitoring recruitment, promotion, and attrition rates by gender, formal pay equity plans, flexible working arrangements, and equal family leave for men and women in the workplace.
CHG makes the Women Tech Council’s Shatter List for the fifth year
Even companies that don’t seem like tech companies need tech experts to function — and at CHG, women in tech are vital to our success. The Women Tech Council, which focuses on the economic impact of women in the technology sector, agrees with us and awarded us a place on their annual Shatter List for the fifth year in a row. The list scores companies on how their practices help "shatter" the glass ceiling that can limit the advancement of women in the workforce. Their criteria include:
- Executive engagement (active involvement from the CEO, executive team, and all leadership)
- Company leadership initiatives (currently have women in technical leadership positions, women at all levels of the company, and more than one woman on the executive team)
- Community investment (active participation with the broader community to expand understanding and share best practices regarding culture and inclusion)
- Formal internal programs (defined programs to support women internally)
Not only do women at CHG benefit from these practices, but they also enjoy solidarity from within our network thanks to the CHG inclusion group WIT and Wisdom. “WIT” stands for women in technology, and the group exists to give those women a community and space to share their wisdom. And even though women make up over half the company, CHG still recognizes the importance of avenues for women to connect and show up for each other across roles, locations, and teams.
