Three is the magic number. The Women Tech Council, a national organization focused on creating career growth and progress for women in the technology sector, has recognized CHG Healthcare on its annual Shatter List for the third consecutive year.
“To keep leading the healthcare staffing industry, the women on our digital teams are building and managing the latest technology platforms for our clients, customers, and employees,” explains Scott Boecker, chief digital officer at CHG. “While our people are building great digital products, our company is building a great support system for women in tech to grow their careers.”
This recognition is based on analyzing hundreds of data points on companies throughout the tech industry — and places CHG among the top companies making a real impact towards creating more gender inclusive cultures that help advance women in tech.
Here are just a few ways CHG is working to shatter the glass ceiling:
- Pay equity — Even in 2022, the gender pay gap is a huge problem around the country. CHG has bucked the trend by achieving pay equity.
- Career growth — Career growth at CHG is employee-driven, leader-guided. Women make up more than half of CHG’s employees and have equal opportunity for advancement in their careers within our organization.
- Fertility and other benefits — CHG is proud to offer fertility benefits to all employees. We also offer $4,000 towards the cost of adoption and up to twelve weeks of paid parental leave for new, adoptive, and foster parents.
- Work-from-home options — All CHG employees are given laptops at the start of their employment and enjoy flexible schedules that include working from home.
Boecker adds, “What sets CHG apart from other tech companies is that we have a startup mentality, backed by a billion-dollar company. It’s a great place to start or grow a career.”
