RNnetwork will continue to support its providers and clients through March 2025
SALT LAKE CITY (Sept. 10, 2024) -- CHG Healthcare, the largest physician staffing company in the United States, has announced it will close its travel nurse division, RNnetwork, and continue to strengthen its focus on locum tenens and allied professional staffing and healthcare technology.
CHG has found new positions for nearly 100 impacted RNnetwork employees. Unfortunately, approximately 115 people will be included in a reduction.
“We wish we could keep everyone at RNnetwork employed with the company,” said Leslie Snavely, the CEO of CHG Healthcare. “During this difficult time, we are doing everything we can to help our team members land on their feet — from severance pay, to insurance coverage, to job placement services. We wish our people success as they move to the next phase of their careers.”
Since it was acquired by CHG Healthcare in 1998, RNnetwork (RNN) has placed tens of thousands of nurses and providers who have cared for millions of patients at healthcare facilities around the country.
“While it is difficult to close RNnetwork, we are confident it’s the right decision as we help our healthcare clients and support our physicians and allied professionals through every stage of their career,” said Snavely. “We’re accelerating the growth of our core business and continuing to invest in the people, technology, and tools that make it easier for our providers and clients to care for patients.”
RNN will continue to support its working providers and contracted clients through its closure in March 2025.
