CHG survey featured in national healthcare news

A CHG Healthcare survey on healthcare workers and COVID-19 anxiety was featured in a national health publication. DOTmed Healthcare Business News cited CHG’s survey of more than 1,200 providers. The article reports 70% of respondents were worried about a decrease of work hours. Providers also worried about bringing the virus home to their families or contracting COVID-19 themselves.

In the article, CHG CEO Scott Beck said, “Struggling to work and worrying about the future are challenges for millions during this COVID-19 crisis, and these results show that the medical profession is impacted as much as many other areas.”

DOTmed cites survey results that indicate seven percent of healthcare workers said they were laid off, while 6% said they were furloughed. Only 50% considered themselves to be working full-time.
