CHG celebrated as one of the 2019 Best Workplaces for Women by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE®

CHG Healthcare has been recognized among the 2019 Best Workplaces for Women. FORTUNE and Great Place to Work® ranked CHG Healthcare as No. 52 on the list.

This annual ranking is determined by anonymous feedback from more than 4.6 million U.S. employees regarding topics such as communications with management, training and development opportunities, and support for work/life balance. Responses from men and women are compared to ensure employees are receiving an equal experience at ranked workplaces. Companies that receive recognition must also employ at least 50 women, have 20% of non-executive managers be female, and have at least one female executive.

CHG promotes the empowerment of women and actively provides growth opportunities. As a result, 57% of CHG employees are female and 49% of CHG leaders are female. There are also several programs available exclusively to female CHG employees. One program is the Women in Technology and Business Employee Network Group, which offers support in developing professional skills and pursuing career goals.

“It’s an honor to be recognized as a company where all employees, including women, are valued,” says CHG CEO Scott Beck. “We are invested in continually providing a workplace where individual opinions are respected and equal opportunities are provided. This is evident in our established core values and culture.”

“These winning companies are thriving because women have an equal seat at every table where critical decisions are made,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “Organizations know that creating a great workplace where everyone can succeed regardless of gender is not just the right thing to do, but a must-do if you want to be the very best of everything in the marketplace.”

About the Best Workplaces for Women

Published together with our partner FORTUNE, the 100 Best Workplaces for Women rankings are based entirely upon feedback from more than 137,762 women at Great Place to Work–Certified companies. Women completed our anonymous Trust Index© survey, answering questions about how frequently they experience the behaviors that create a great workplace, including, for example, their assessment of how fairly they’re treated regardless of gender, the quality and authenticity of communications with managers, and equitable pay and promotion practices. Women’s anonymous responses resulted in a total score for each company, which was compared to the benchmark for organizations of that size, and ranked accordingly.

Results from the survey are highly reliable, having a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of 6% or less. Winning a spot on this list indicates the company has distinguished itself from peers by being a great place to work for women, and has a workplace where women have high representation in the total employee population and in management positions. The 100 companies with the highest employee ratings and female representation were selected for the list.
