In honor of the London Summer Olympics, which officially kicked off July 27, the CompHealth locum tenens housing team decided to hold an Olympic event of its own -- a baton relay!
At first, Lorrie Callaway, assignment coordinator at CompHealth locum tenens in Salt Lake City, Utah, was nervous to start her new job with CHG, but she soon found that with the training and overall culture of caring, she had nothing to worry about. “I have had a few trying moments and a full task load, but CHG people, including the management and my peers, have proven above and beyond, that here people really do come first,” Lorrie says. “The best part about CHG is the actions of the managers, accompanied with their genuine desire for you to succeed and enjoying working here.” Today, nearly three months after her starting date, Lorrie is enjoying her position for the business and diversity if offers, but her favorite part about her job is her team.
Within weeks of joining CHG, Linda Groth, client associate atCompHealth allied health in Grand Rapids, Mich., came in second place in a water-pong tournament! This is just an example of how Linda has come to embrace the fun and caring culture at CHG, a company which she claims is unlike anything you have ever experienced.
Several of CHG’s female leaders attended the annual Women’s Philanthropic Network (WPN) summer social July 18 at the OC Tanner building in downtown Salt Lake City. WPN members met to discuss the work in the United Way of Salt Lake neighborhood centers and the WPN’s new priority, Women for Educational Achievement, which encourages girls and teens to obtain post-secondary education.
