Parental leave at CHG Healthcare
Those first weeks with your new addition are a beautiful time that should be devoted to your family. At CHG, we insist that you leave work during that time, which is why we offer parental leave for all employees, even those in their first year of employment.
Our benefits include continuous salary coverage for up to five weeks at 100% of an employee's base salary during their first year of employment. For individuals employed with us for more than one year, an extended duration of up to eleven weeks with a 100% base salary is granted.
Fertility and adoption benefits through Progyny
At CHG, we understand that starting or growing a family can be a joyous and financially demanding journey. Through Progyny, eligible employees and their partners have access to a wide range of fertility treatments and adoption assistance to help them achieve their dreams of parenthood. This includes:
- 3 smart cycles
- $10,000 in surrogacy assistance per attempt
- $10,000 in adoption assistance per child

Aetna Enhanced Maternity Program
Through CHG’s medical plan, you can access the Aetna Enhanced Maternity program, a comprehensive resource designed to support you and your partner throughout the pregnancy journey and provide postpartum and breastfeeding support. At the end of this program, there is a $300 incentive.
Care.com membership
We provide premium access to Care.com, which ordinarily has a monthly subscription. As the world’s largest caretaker network, Care.com can help you find what your family needs, whether a nanny, a babysitter, a tutor, a distance learning facilitator, or a childcare center. We know how important it is for your children to be cared for when you can’t be there, so we’ve partnered with Care.com to make it easier for you.
The Learning Care Group
Through our parental benefits at CHG, you can receive a 15% discount for childcare at any of The Learning Care Group facilities, and enrollment and registration fees can be waived. If you don’t use The Learning Care Group for your regularly scheduled childcare, this benefit also provides five backup days of coverage if your standard childcare falls through.
Daycare match account
We offer a daycare match program that can help you offset the cost of childcare. CHG will match your contributions to a childcare savings account up to $2,500 annually.
Lifestyle Spending Account
Depending on your tenure with CHG, you can be reimbursed for up to $350 for lifestyle spending. This could be used for anything related to your child's lifestyle, including the cost of childcare.
Brightline pediatric behavioral health access
We offer access to Brightline Pediatric Behavioral Health, a leading provider of mental health services for children and adolescents. This can help you get the care that your child (ages 1.5-17) needs for mental health issues such as tantrums, anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
Headspace care
We also offer access to Headspace Care, a leading mindfulness and meditation app. This app is focused on creating strong mental health, and you and your dependents will have unlimited access to its on-demand coaching, meditation guides, and more. It is also offered in Spanish.
