Parental leave at CHG Healthcare

Those first weeks with your new addition are a beautiful time that should be devoted to your family. At CHG, we insist that you leave work during that time, which is why we offer parental leave for all employees, even those in their first year of employment.

Our benefits include continuous salary coverage for up to six weeks at 100% of an employee's salary (including commission) during their first year of employment. For individuals employed with us for more than one year, an extended duration of up to twelve weeks with a 100% base salary is granted.

Fertility and adoption benefits through Progyny

At CHG, we understand that starting or growing a family can be a joyous and financially demanding journey. Through Progyny, eligible employees and their partners have access to a wide range of fertility treatments and adoption assistance to help them achieve their dreams of parenthood. This includes:

  • 3 smart cycles
  • $10,000 in surrogacy assistance per attempt
  • $10,000 in adoption assistance per child
  • Fertility medication coverage
  • Egg and sperm freezing coverage
  • Egg and sperm tissue purchase coverage

We've also recently started offering a comprehensive menopause and midlife care program through Progyny, providing additional benefits:

Maternity programs

Through CHG’s medical plans, you'll have a wide selection of resources to support you or your partner throughout the pregnancy journey, including pre-pregnancy checklists, phone-based genetic counseling and screening, personalized nurse support, and breastfeeding and postpartum support. When you join the program, you'll also receive helpful information on prenatal care and what to expect before and after delivery.

Care.com membership

As the world’s largest caretaker network, Care.com can help you find what your family needs, whether a nanny, a babysitter, a tutor, a distance learning facilitator, or a childcare center. We know how important it is for your children to be cared for when you can’t be there, so we’ve partnered with Care.com to make it easier for you.

Wellthy caregiving services

For parents of teens, it can be a challenging time to navigate. We're partnering with Wellthy, a care-planning tool that provides personalized support for managing the logistics and tasks of caring for yourself and your loved ones. Wellthy's Teen Support provides specialized support for parents and caregivers of teenagers. Wellthy's team of care coordinators can help you or anyone in your life who is raising a teen with tasks such as academic support, mental health services, post-high school planning, wellness resources, and LGBTQ+ support services.

Daycare match account

We offer a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DFSA), which allows you to use tax-free dollars to pay for dependent-care services, such as daycare expenses, that you may need.

Annual contribution limits depend on your marital status and income filing status:

  • If you are single, or if you are married and file a joint tax return and your spouse does not have access to an FSA, you may contribute $7,500.
  • If you are married and file a joint tax return, and your spouse has access to an FSA, you and your spouse can contribute a combined $7,500.
  • If you are married and you and your spouse file separate tax returns, you may contribute up to $3,750.

CHG will match up to $2,500 of your contributions.

Lifestyle Spending Account

Depending on your tenure with CHG, you may be reimbursed up to $350 for lifestyle expenses. This could be used for a variety of products and services, including anything related to your child's lifestyle, such as childcare costs.

Headspace

We also offer access to Headspace, a leading mindfulness and meditation app. This app focuses on building strong mental health, and you and your dependents (ages 6 and up) will have 8 free therapy sessions per year per issue. to its on-demand coaching, meditation guides, and more. It is also offered in Spanish.
