Veterans Day is an opportunity to express gratitude to all the men and women who have served in the military. It’s a huge sacrifice to give up the comforts and safety of civilian life — and be separated from family and friends — to serve and protect our country. Our freedom comes at a high cost, and we are all indebted to these men and women for their service.
We’re fortunate to have many military veterans working here at CHG and we have many more employees with family members serving in the military. Here are a few of them.

Dan Bonebrake served as a U.S. Army specialist from 1989 – 1992 with the 24th Infantry Division in Georgia. He served in Operation Desert Storm in Iraq and Desert Shield in Saudi Arabia.

Fernando Moran served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

Terry Stith served as an engine mechanic in the Air Force from 1982 – 1989. He was stationed in Washington, Guam and Maryland.

John Vogel served in the U.S. Navy from 1985 – 1989 in San Diego.

Guy Zimmerman served in the US Air Force from 1981 - 1985 with duty stations in Europe and Asia.

Gene Rivers served in the United States Air Force from 1991 – 2015 in Iraq, Afghanistan, Southwest Asia, and Africa.

Tommy MacPherson served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps 2008 - 2013. He served 2 tours overseas: Afghanistan and Japan.

Amber Gambetta served as a Medic in the Army National Guard from 1999-2009.
