Did you miss CompHealth Symposium 2012? Highlights of this year's event, held Feb. 9-11 at The Chateau at Silver Lake in Deer Valley, Utah, can be found on the CompHealth Symposium website, including information about the presenters and activities.
Chad Stone, assistant brand manager for CompHealth, notes that the live blog from CompHealth Symposium was a new feature this year.
"Highlights from all sessions were blogged about live from the event. This allowed those not in attendance to follow the sessions remotely," Chad says. "The Twitter hashtag was published on all event materials, allowing everyone to tweet from the event, and the new website provides an all-access pass to all things Symposium."
Stephanie Rollheiser, vice president of the CompHealth locum tenens division, says the CompHealth Symposium is an unforgettable weekend dedicated to learning, networking and sharing knowledge.
"This year, we wanted to share the best practices that have made us a world-class, award-winning company," Stephanie says. "We had a pre-Symposium workshop where Jeff Freeman and I taught a training class we developed called ‘How to Recruit, Hire and Retain the Best Physicians: Advice from Industry Experts,' which resulted in lively and relevant discussions. Jason Call from the CompHealth national accounts team shared our Lean customer success stories, and we had the CompHealth Showcase, where our customers spent time with our Business Partners, learning from their expertise."
Stephanie notes that the entertainment portion of the event, a Rock n' Roll fantasy camp where attendees wrote and performed songs on stage with a full rock band, was an outrageous experience that will be hard to top next year. She also enjoys the impact Symposium has on client relationships, noting that it is ground-breaking in the industry.
"My favorite part of Symposium is the opportunity it provides us to really get to know our customers on a more personal level, learning together and strengthening trusted partnerships," Stephanie expresses. "To quote one of the attendees this year, ‘CompHealth makes their clients feel important. I always walk away with a great learning experience that strengthens our relationship and makes me a better recruiter.' Now that says it all!"
