CHG's CEO Scott Beck and Weatherby Healthcare president Bill Heller were named to Staffing Industry Analysts' (SIA) 2017 Staffing 100 list. The award honors staffing's most influential people who have helped drive industry growth and honors those who have made a difference to the way we work.
Here's what SIA has to say about Scott and Bill:
"Scott Beck is CEO of CHG Healthcare Services, the second-largest U.S. healthcare staffing firm; it's a company that regularly appears on lists of best places to work. Last year, Beck lead a group of CHG employees on a trip to Kenya to build a high school. In addition, Beck was featured in Crain Utah's ‘If I knew then ...' series with the quote ‘One of the things I learned as a young executive was the importance of taking care of your people. I was a beneficiary of that, and it has informed my perspective over the last 15 years. We have embraced this idea around the importance of people. People come first, and profits come second. If we take really good care of our people, our people will take really good care of our customers' needs.'"
"Since Bill Heller became president of Weatherby Healthcare in 2015, the company has seen increases of 18% in revenue growth and 22% in gross profit; it has also added 91 employees, now employing nearly 650 people in Florida and North Carolina. One of the largest locum tenens companies in the industry, Weatherby Healthcare achieved an overall engagement score of 90% in 2016. Heller is passionate about giving back and strongly supports the Jason Taylor Foundation, which works to improve South Florida children's healthcare, education and quality of life. Heller strives to maintain a company culture based on respect, caring and fun."
