Last month, a small group of account executives from RNnetwork's sales team in Boca Raton, Fla., made a big difference to their local community.
They went to Boca Helping Hands, a nonprofit which provides food, education and support to local families in need. The group rolled up their sleeves and got to work preparing meals, serving food, stocking shelves, packing groceries and unloading trucks.
"There are so many children and families who need food in the Palm Beach area," says Briana Silva, one of the account executives who organized the event. "It's just heartbreaking and I'm glad we could do something to help."
RNnetwork has held food drives for the organization in the past, but this time decided to donate hands-on help. It made an impact on the people served — and the volunteers.
"To be able to give a bag of groceries to someone who doesn't have any food," Briana pauses. "I've never seen such enormous smiles. Everyone was incredibly grateful."
