Wendy Frederick, recruitment coordinator at Foundation Medical Staffing in Edmond, Okla., says that she is by nature a problem solver, so she is very grateful for all the opportunities she has at CHG to connect solutions to problems and people to positions.
"I am the person on the permanent placement dialysis team whose primary responsibility is to find providers for the job openings our clients have given us by making many, many calls a day," Wendy says. "This job allows me to use my skills in problem solving to help put people into jobs. That is very satisfying. I enjoy connecting with people and learning about them and in general talking to them, so this job allows me to do that."
Wendy, who has been with CHG for 12 years, also enjoys working at CHG because of the sincere thought and consideration that goes into making sure that people are the priorities.
"CHG is a company that seems to be creative in their thinking, providing things like pet insurance and other benefits that other companies don't typically provide," Wendy says.

Last year, I had been thinking about becoming a volunteer for a hospice organization. I like to write, and I decided it would be nice to use my skills and also help someone by writing down their life story before they pass away. I had actually emailed at least one hospice company, who never responded to me. Then one day, the United Way representative came to our office to talk about Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteering and to get donations for the United Way through withdrawing money from our paycheck. I signed up to donate and was given a booklet that listed all the United Way organizations. There was a hospice organization listed in the back of that booklet. I contacted them about volunteering, and they got back to me right away. It was a lengthy process to get trained and to go through the medical exam, but it was well worth it when I got my first patient. That is the kind of thing that most people at CHG probably don't know about: How far our reach goes beyond our daily work life when it comes to helping others outside of work. If it hadn't been for that day that the United Way gave me that booklet, I am not sure I would have seen the sign to take the step to become a volunteer.
