As a single mother, Tiffany Jabczynski, travel consultant at CHG in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., knew she had to find flexibility in any job she took. However, when she first moved to Fort Lauderdale, the first company she worked for simply did not allow her the work-life balance she and her son needed. When she accepted a position at CHG, all of that changed.
"There are so many good things about CHG; I couldn't just say one thing: The people, the benefits and, most of all, the Putting People First culture are wonderful," Tiffany says.
Now, Tiffany not only enjoys more time with her son, but she enjoys her work as well.
"I look forward to coming to work and seeing my CHG family," she shares. "The CHG Fort Lauderdale team has become my family and we make every day fun!"
Read below to find out how both Tiffany and her son were welcomed into a new family when she joined CHG!
My first day at CHG was the beginning of our new chapter. I say "our" new chapter because Gordon Cowley, manager of the travel team in Fort Lauderdale, and my team not only welcomed me in, but they also welcomed my son, Quincy. A year and a half later, I have developed many strong relationships and I look forward to coming to work every day. Working full time and also trying to raise a child is not easy, especially when it comes to the after-school activities. I will never forget the day when Gordon asked, "What after-school program is Quincy starting next?" I thought to myself, "I am so lucky to work for a company that allows me to have the work-life balance as a mom and a full-time employee!" I am so happy to work for such a supportive and fun team. I love our CHG Fort Lauderdale team; we are truly a family with an awesome bond.
I moved from Denver with my three-year-old son, leaving behind my family and 29 years of comfort, and started a new chapter for the two of us. When I first came down to Fort Lauderdale, I worked for another company, and I was so unhappy. Being a single mom, flexibility is a key thing with work-life balance, and I didn't have that. I was so close to moving back to Denver, and then I found CHG.
