What do you get when you combine a dozen doughnuts, two bottles of milk and two competitive eaters from the CompHealth permanent placement division? A big bellyache and an even bigger contribution to the United Way!
Frank Gomez and Brent Malili, both recruiters on the sub-specialities 1 (SS1) team, prepared for the upcoming United Way Week pie-eating contest by attempting to down six Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the shortest amount of time, armed only with a bottle of milk, on August 26.

Frank emerged from the race victorious with a time of just under two minutes after dunking his doughnuts to make them soggy (and easier to slide down). His prize? A $100 sponsorship from CompHealth perm leaders in the August 31 pie-eating contest, with all proceeds going to the United Way of Salt Lake.
"It felt good to win to quiet all the naysayers. They were thinking Brent was going to win because he is bigger," Frank shares. "However, I know for a fact if Brent and I had a food-eating contest to see who could eat the most food, he would win. This was a speed contest!"
