Four years ago, DiVina Mauchley, administrative assistant for the risk management team at CHG in Salt Lake City, Utah, left CHG. When her son turned two, she decided it was time to return to the workforce full-time. For DiVina, there was only one company to even consider. Read all about her return and why CHG was the only company for her.

What do you do at CHG and what do you like about your job?
I am an administrative assistant to risk management and CVO. I really enjoy the people I work with.
When did you come to CHG?
I came back to CHG April of this year after being gone for about four years.
What made you want to return to CHG?
After having my son, I was working part-time. I had made the decision that I wanted to go back to work full-time when he turned two. I only applied for jobs at CHG for a couple of reasons. The first was that I really wanted to work for a company that offered advancement opportunities, and I knew that was not possible at the company I was working for at the time. Also, I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in communication, and I knew that I wanted to work for a company that offered a good work-life balance. There is no other company that I want to work for while juggling family, school and a full-time job all at the same time.
Where were you working before you came to CHG?
I worked for Intermountain Healthcare.
How has working at CHG compared to your other working experience?
The culture. I was working for a healthcare company that valued its patients a lot, which it should, but the leaders forgot about their employees while doing so. In the healthcare business especially, I think that patient satisfaction is very much related to the employees that make contact with the patients and how much those employees enjoy what they are doing and how much they like the company they work for. I love the culture here. I love that CHG knows the correlation between employee happiness and how that affects what we do and how we do it.
What can you tell me about your first day back?
My first day back here was amazing. I didn't know if people would really remember me because it had been four years since I had worked here previously. I was really surprised that so many people came up to me to see how I was doing and to tell me how happy they are to have me back here again. It really made me feel good and confident in my decision to come back to work for such a great company with great people.
What has been your most memorable experience so far?
One thing that really sticks out in my mind was working with Jennie Richards, talent acquisition specialist at CHG. She was amazing at keeping me in the loop and letting me know if there were jobs that may be a good fit for me open and to see if I wanted to apply for those jobs. She was really caring and did what she could to help me find the right fit in the company. She really reminded me and showed the core value of Putting People First.
Do you have any advice for new or potential CHG employees?
Take advantage of the opportunities that CHG has to offer, like the employee development courses and all of the activities and events. These programs really help to get to know people around the company.
