What is your favorite part about working at CHG? The people! I really enjoy working with not only my team, but everyone here at CompHealth. It makes it easy and fun to come to work.
What is your most memorable experience at CHG? When I was on the sales team, my manager at the time, Daniel Allison, set a stretch target for the team. He promised if we hit the target goal that he would demonstrate a karate kick for us. We exceeded our target, and he gathered us all in the training room and explained he would not be doing a karate demonstration. Instead, he showed us a video he made, on his own time, of him decked out in full karate gear showing us his "skills." I have never laughed so hard in my entire life, mostly because he looked so serious in the video. One of my favorite things about CHG is that we work really hard and we celebrate our successes.
If someone asked you what you do, how would you answer them? I help coach the greatest employees in the world, so we can help small communities get the patient care they need.
Why did you choose to work at CHG? A friend and former co-worker kept telling me about how amazing CHG was and that I should apply. Everything he told me made it sound too good to be true. Finally, I applied, and I've often looked back and wished I had listened to him sooner. It was the best decision I've ever made!
How do you feel you embody CHG's core value of Integrity and Ethics — or how have you seen it in action at work? I'm always impressed by CHG's commitment to Integrity and Ethics. I see it every day in the transparent and honest interactions not only from my peers, but from our leaders as well.
How do you know that your work at CHG matters? The final result of everything we do positively impacts patients and communities.
What do you like to do when you aren't at work? Go to dinner with friends
What is your hidden talent? I am the current CHG Healthcare Pool Kids Club Champion (an Employee Network Group at CHG). Does that count as hidden?
If you could choose your last meal, what would it be? Steak with blue cheese, grilled asparagus, a loaded baked potato, and of course, a side of bacon.
What five things would you take to a deserted island? Flashlight, matches, knife, genie lamp and satellite phone. If I can't have the genie lamp, then I'd want a perpetually charged Kindle with books.
In a movie about your life, who would you choose to star as you? Ben Stiller or Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
