Job Title: Senior housing specialist at CompHealth allied health staffing in Grand Rapids, Mich.

What is your favorite part about working at CHG? The people -- my co-workers, my leaders and the providers I serve.

What one story best describes your experience at CHG? Our receptionist, Patty, succumbed to breast cancer in 2010. It was our office's first experience with a co-worker who was diagnosed with a prognosis that was terminal. The office rallied to support her and her family in many ways. We did fundraisers, gifted PTO and walked for cancer awareness. When Patty passed, we provided a luncheon for Patty's family and friends. We continue to support her husband, Bob, by sending cards on Sweetest Day, Valentine's Day, his birthday and on the anniversary of Patty's death. At Christmas, we always send Bob a basket full of goodies including milk bones for his beloved dog, Emma.

If someone asked you what you do, how would you answer them? Multi-tasker. I balance the needs of the GM with the delivery of services that meet our company and our providers' expectations.

Why did you choose to work at CHG? Because I am a veteran of 12 years, the best question would be why have I continued to remain at CHG. CHG remains a company where I continue to enjoy my co-workers, the company's vision and the continued cultural evolution.

What is your favorite event that you have participated in at CHG and why? Annually, since 2008, a handful of our Grand Rapids staff walk in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. In 2008, we walked with our co-worker, Patty Johnson. We have continued doing this walk and this year, our fundraising for "Patty's Pit Crew" finished in the top 10, raising $1,635.

What is your favorite core value at CHG? Putting People First.

If you could choose your last meal, what would it be? Nothing spicy!

What five things would you take to a deserted island? Tennis shoes, a mystery novel, my favorite crackers, my husband and one flare.

In a movie about your life, who would you choose to star as you? Mary Tyler Moore.
