Drop, cover and hold on: CHG participates in Great Utah ShakeOut

People in our Salt Lake office, along with more than 860,000 others throughout Utah, participated in the Great Utah ShakeOut on April 17.

At exactly 10:15 a.m., hundreds of team members practiced the "drop, cover and hold on" exercise, crouching beneath desks and tables to prepare for an earthquake. CHG's receptionist announced the drill, played a recording of earthquake sounds and then announced the end of the drill two minutes later.

CHG participated in the Great Utah ShakeOut in 2012 and plans to be a part of the drill in 2014 as well. Learn more about this state-wide program by visiting the Great Utah Shakeout website — and check out photos from the event below.
