When it comes to team building, the CompHealth permanent placement division in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., marches to the beat of its own drum – or rather, drums.
 
The team met together for a unique, interactive team-building activity called a drum circle.
"Everyone came in and sat down and then chose an instrument," explains Amber Shelby, corporate meeting and event planner. "First, they went around the room playing the name game, making a new beat for each person's name. Then everyone would play together. Each person had a unique instrument that made an individual sound, but when everyone worked together, it was music to our ears," Amber says.
