As part of the CHG marketing team's holiday celebrations, team members contributed items for the Road Home, a nonprofit social agency that helps those who are homeless in Utah to get back on their feet.
To encourage friendly competition, marketing employees broke into teams of four and strived to earn the highest number of points by donating various items assigned different point values (i.e., laundry detergent was one point/ounce).
At the end of the drive on Dec. 19, team members had contributed more than 11,000 ounces of laundry detergent, nearly 4,000 ounces of shampoo, 93 coats and numerous packages of diapers, underwear and hygiene products, along with many clothing items and several cribs, strollers, car seats and pack-and-plays.
Members of the marketing team then delivered the items to the Road Home facility in downtown Salt Lake City Dec. 21. Check out a few photos of the donations and the team members involved in the drive below!
