Betty Ann Gulyas, also known as “Queen Bee,” is an administrative assistant for our
CompHealth permanent placement division in Trumbull, Conn. This month, she celebrates her 20-year anniversary with the company. She describes her experience with CHG as one filled with fond memories and irreplaceable friendships. Learn more about her in the Q&A below.
How has CHG changed since 1997? What has stayed the same?
Our databases, of course, have changed, making things easier for everyone to access information. And personally, I’ve added a few pounds and a few gray hairs! What has stayed the same is what we do and our core values — we still recruit medical professionals and help people in that way. People are still the most important part of our work.
What is your fondest work memory?
In March 2015, I was a recipient of the Putting People First award and won a four-day trip to Las Vegas for President’s Club. I took my daughter, and it was an absolute ball. It was so good to meet people from other offices who I had never met in person and put a face with their name.
What has kept you at CompHealth all these years?
I enjoy my friends, my job, and my commute to work is less than 10 minutes! Over the past two years, I have experienced some health problems, but without fail I have been supported by my friends, family and CHG family. I was able to take the time off I needed and knew I was never alone in my challenges.
