We Are Family: Sister, Sister
Katie Rosenberger and Jennifer Menefee are used to sharing. The sisters shared their childhood (along with favorite toys and games) and now share the same workplace: CompHealth allied health staffing in Grand Rapids, Mich.
"CompHealth allied health staffing was Grand Rapids' best-kept secret! All it took was one visit to the CHG website to know that I wanted to become a member of the CHG family," shares Katie, a provider representative for the occupational therapy team who joined the company five years ago. "I referred my sister for a position that opened up a little over a year ago. So not only do I get to work with my best friend, but I received a referral bonus to boot!"
Katie, left, and Jennifer have worked together at CompHealth allied health staffing for more than a year.
Jennifer, who is an administrative assistant for the physical therapy team, says Katie had been telling her how great CHG was from the start.
"I knew that CHG was the place I wanted to be," she shares. "We have fun in everything we do. My team is great, too."
Meanwhile, Katie says she looks forward to many more years and thoroughly enjoys being part of the family.
"I love the satisfaction of helping my therapists achieve their career goals, growing our team business, celebrating the successes of myself and my co-workers and working with the best leaders in the business," Katie expresses. "They continually invest in my goals, dreams and professional growth!"
For Jennifer, the best part about working with at CHG is seeing her best friend every day.
"Amazingly enough, we never get sick of each other -- even when Katie asks me for a dollar for the pop machine every day," Jennifer says. "I know if I ever have a question, Katie is there to help."
And, like a true best friend, Katie's favorite part of work at CHG is seeing Jennifer succeed.
"I think the best thing about working with my sister is watching her excel in her position. Jennifer rocks at her job! I love cheering for her when she provides outstanding customer service," Katie shares. "I already know how awesome Jennifer is, and it is fun to watch others discover it! Plus, now I always have a shopping buddy during lunches, and that is always great."
Jennifer and Katie continue to share vending machine cash and lunch hours, but Katie's plans for sharing are even bigger.
"If I could, I would recruit my whole family to work for CHG," Katie expresses. "Our company cares about its people -- who could ask for a better place for your loved ones to work?"
