When Rachel Heitz, senior director of information technology at CHG in Salt Lake City, Utah, joined CHG in 2007, she didn't realize how different working here was going to be, especially when it came to the investment in her future.
"I was not aware of how lucky I was to get a job at CHG," Rachel says. "I had filled leadership roles before, but I had not really had too much formal leadership training. The companies I had worked for previously just didn't invest in that type of training."
Rachel soon came to appreciate her good fortune in landing a job at CHG and is grateful for the leadership training she's been able to enjoy as a result of her employment here.
"CHG's commitment to leadership development is one of the things that sets us apart and makes this such a great organization," she says.
Read Rachel's story below and discover why she believes CHG's leadership development programs make CHG a great place to work.

I have been very impressed with the continued investment in leadership development at CHG, and even more impressed that the commitment starts at the top with our CEO, Mike Weinholtz.
Over the past six years, I have seen the commitment level increase as the strategy around people and culture has evolved.
I am always excited about the opportunities that are available to leaders. In addition to the many opportunities offered by the leadership training organization, we are also encouraged to take advantage of other opportunities offered outside the organization.
In 2012 I attended trainings such as Servant Leadership, Building and Inspiring Trust and a Leaders Leading Leaders program. I also attended two leadership summits where leaders throughout the organization get together to review goals, collaborate, share best practices and strengthen relationships.
CHG is not just a great place to work, but an incredible place to be a leader. It's not necessarily an easy place to be a leader because expectations are high, but we have the resources available to us to be successful – and that is a great feeling!
