Because we are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion, CHG encourages its people to create Employee Network Groups. Employees are welcome to use company resources, as well as $500 per year, to form groups based on their personal interests.
From hero appreciation to learning to shoot, each of CHG's Employee Network Groups provide a way to establish meaningful relationships with co-workers. There are now 30 Employee Network Groups across all of our offices, with more than 800 employees participating.
Each week we'll highlight a different group and what they do to make a difference in our employees' lives and throughout the community.
This week we learn about the Homebrewers of CHG. Here's what group leader Kyle Power had to say.

What's your Employee Network Group about?
Brewing beer! We also enjoy learning best practices and discovering new ways to hone our craft.
Why did you start this group?
There was a group of us that homebrewed and decided it would be a good idea. We also thought it was a good way to give back during United Way Week. Combining two of our company initiatives was the idea.
What is the focus of your Employee Network Group?
Learning about beer and making better connections.

How often do you meet?
We meet every two months or so.
What are a few of the activities you're involved in?
We enjoy brewing beer with friends, trying beer from out of state and discussing beer school. The connections we make within our group are an essential component of what we do. We also take part in United Way Week by creating a basket of beers to sell for charity with our own designer labels.
