CHG's Putting People First philosophy is the driving force behind our efforts to give back to our local communities and to each other. In fact, it's because of this commitment that we have a Heart of CHG initiative that encompasses everything we do to care for our communities (as well as caring for our own people).
One of our biggest annual community events is United Way Week, an entire week devoted to a full schedule of activities that allow our people to have fun, celebrate each other with gifts and more — all in an effort to raise money for the local United Way.
This year, during the week-long event at our Salt Lake City, Utah, office, our people participated in a variety of fun activities, including a pizza-eating competition, gift grams, bake sale, ping-pong tournament, waffle trucks, car washes and a silent and live auction — just to name a few. The pizza-eating competition alone raised more than $8,000 for the United Way of Salt Lake.
