What is your favorite part about working at CHG? Weatherby Healthcare is not just a cut above the rest, they are a leap above the rest! It has been and continues to be an absolute pleasure to be a part of this company. Weatherby Healthcare really goes above and beyond for its employees and listens with open ears. We don't just talk about our core values, we live them every day — and what we do really does impact patient lives. The employees here at Weatherby Healthcare always work together and are always looking for new innovative ways to get things done more efficiently. I also want to make mention of the amazing leadership team here as well. The consistent encouragement and guidance makes it easy to succeed in our roles. I enjoy soaking up all that I can from our leadership team.
What is your most memorable experience at CHG? At this point, I would say the bake sale fundraiser that the medical staff services department recently held for Justin Bauer's father, who is battling bladder cancer. To see everyone come together and support the cause was amazing! We were able to raise $2,000 thanks to everyone's support.
If someone asked you what you do, how would you answer them? I'd say that I credential top-notch physicians to save patient lives for the best medical staffing agency!
Why did you choose to work at CHG? After working in the music industry for more than 10 years, I needed a drastic change. I was looking for something more rewarding and promising and was referred by a fellow credentialer within our external credentialing department.
What is your favorite core value at CHG and why? Integrity and Ethics: Everything we do is done with passion and commitment. I witness this being demonstrated on a daily basis. From internal employees to external contacts, we strive to candidly provide Red Ribbon Service without compromising our policies or procedures. Our exclusive team of consultants and credentialers work very hard to add value into the end result of matching physicians to the right facilities to save lives.
How do you know that your work at CHG matters? Patient care and safety is really what Weatherby is all about. We get countless letters from patients, providers and clients attesting to how important this is!
What do you like to do when you aren't at work? A good day would be hanging out poolside with my husband and our bulldog, Stella.
What is your hidden talent? Event planning for family and friends.
If you could choose your last meal, what would it be? Carrot cake from J Mark's!
What five things would you take to a deserted island? A survival expert, chapstick, machete, bug repellent and, last but not least, A Kick In The Attitude by Sam Glenn so that I can stay calm and collected.
In a movie about your life, who would you choose to star as you? Audrey Hepburn.
