Putting People First is CHG's guiding core value and is practiced not only within the walls of our company, but also extends to the communities in which we live.
Recently, a group from our CompHealth permanent placement division in Salt Lake City, Utah lived that principle firsthand when they worked with the Utah Food Bank to supply food to 15 local community members in need.
The team of 20 split up into five separate groups and spent the day delivering everything from frozen foods, fresh produce and dry goods to homebound, disabled and elderly people throughout the Salt Lake valley. Each household received a two-week supply of food, which was hand-delivered by our people.
"It was a humbling experience that made us all more grateful for the lives that we live and incredibly grateful to work for a company that allows and encourages us to give back," says Jessica Mansuetto, the recruiter at CompHealth who helped organize this service project.
