I’m proud of the vital role CHG Healthcare plays in the healthcare industry. Each day, we make it possible for healthcare providers to serve patients where they’re needed most around the world.
As we started 2020, we had two main goals: make it easier for our healthcare providers and facilities to care for patients and to make CHG an even better place to work. None of us expected having to confront a worldwide pandemic, but by using our core values as a guide and working closely with our customers and employees, we’ll continue to accomplish these objectives.
Though the coronavirus has impacted how we do our work, it’s made what we do every day even more vital as we work together to connect healthcare facilities with the right providers to meet their increasing patient care needs.
Here’s how we’re helping our people, our providers, and our healthcare facilities continue to be part of the solution to this pandemic.
Putting people first is the foundation of what we do and that starts with our people and their safety. To help minimize the spread of the virus, we’ve moved nearly all our 3,100 employees out of our offices and into their homes. Although their workspace has changed, they’ll continue to provide our customers with the high-quality service and security they’ve come to expect from us.
Our putting people first approach also applies to our healthcare providers. In addition to helping them get to locations where they’re needed most, we’re also taking care of them if they are infected while on assignment and making sure we’re with them every step of the way. Our providers can click here for answers to questions they may have about travel assignments or reach out to their recruiters directly at any time.
We’re also focused on the needs of the healthcare facilities we serve. We’re working with licensing boards to get providers to work faster, and we’re making sure our healthcare providers are screened and healthy before beginning an assignment. Click here for regularly updated information.
As we navigate the coronavirus pandemic, we all know that it won’t be business as usual. Even though how we work together may change, we have the same commitment to taking care of our people and doing the right thing for our healthcare providers and facilities. During this difficult time, we’ll need to be patient with each other as we all work together to achieve our collective goal: taking care of patients and improving the lives of those we serve.
