For CompHealth allied health staffing's CORE training, each new hire gave a presentation -- and Brad Hopkin, manager of operations, also gave Tyler Black, vice president of CompHealth allied staffing, a makeover.
As part of her presentation for CORE training, Tommi Ellingford, associate recruiter, invited Tyler and Brad to help out.
"I was asked to give a presentation covering how I could contribute to the team," Tommi says. "I called my presentation 'What makes up a good allied team member,' with the key phrase being ‘makeup.'
As Tommi related Allied's goals to different cosmetics, she had Brad act as Tyler's hands and apply each cosmetic to Tyler's face.
"Foundation was applied first to represent the solid foundation and culture that CHG already has in place," Tommi explains. "I promised to build up on this foundation by always practicing our core values. Next, we added some hot pink blush to convey my spirit and colorful personality that will keep things bright and positive."
As her presentation continued, so did Tyler's makeover, and in the end, the vice president found himself smeared with thick foundation, hot pink blush, black eyeliner and bright red lipstick.
Tommi says she must either be stupid or brave to cover her vice president's face with makeup after only two weeks on the job, but when Tyler saw his face in the mirror, he cheerfully exclaimed, "So this is what good looks like!"
