We Are Family: Just the Way You Are

For Jared and Becka Belcher, a husband and wife who both work at the Salt Lake City office, carpooling is the best part of working with family. “We currently live in Lehi (about 30 minutes away from the office), and being able to drive one car versus two saves us a lot of money,” Becka shares.

My CHG Story: Fredrik Svensson

Fredrik Svensson, software engineer at CHG in Salt Lake City, started at the company in 2002 and currently works on the SharePoint team, helping to create the new CHG Healthcare website. He says he likes being involved in all parts of the websites the IT department creates, including interface, style and functionality, and he likes the culture best at CHG.

We Are Family: Father and Son

Steve and Josh Keiser have enjoyed hanging out and riding motorcycles together for years – and, since September 2011, they’ve enjoyed working together in the IT department in Salt Lake City.​ “It’s good to see Josh every day,” Steve, senior software engineer, shares. “It’s fun for me to see how good he is at his job. Yeah, I’m a proud dad.”

My CHG Story: Jennifer Homel

Jennifer Homel, CHG’s wellness program manager, has worked at CHG for more than five years and says she enjoys the spirit of the company most. “It’s in the kinds of people we get to work with every day, and it’s in the way we treat each other and work together towards a common goal,” she says. “I love the open, flexible and collaborative interactions, and I especially love working at a company where excellence and innovation are valued, rather than being seen as a threat to the status quo.”

Nic and Nikki Goodfellow never expected to find love at a healthcare staffing company in Salt Lake City, Utah, but that’s just what happened.​The husband and wife pair married in November 2010 and continue to enjoy working together – and surprising co-workers.

The results are in: CHG was named no. 9 on Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list on Jan. 19. We jumped 18 spots from last year’s ranking of no. 27, and this is the third consecutive year that CHG has been included in the list. It is also the only Utah-headquartered company to be included.
